Late in July, rumors were circling around of Brett Ratner's involvement with a film adaptation of Sony's God of War. Speaking with UGO (via FirstShowing), Ratner confirmed those rumors when he listed the film, along with the fourth Beverly Hills Cop and the Hugh Hefner biopic Playboy, as "waiting for the greenlight to come in."

In the past few years, Wal-Mart has solidified itself as a major player in the music industry. Sure, we have always been able to purchase music there, but the big box store carved out a name for itself by garnering exclusive album deals from such artists as Garth Brooks, The Eagles, Journey, AC/DC's upcoming "Black Ice" and supposedly (read rumored) Guns N' Roses' oft delayed "Chinese Democracy". It seemed it was only a matter of time before they started to sell exclusive gaming titles as well. That day arrives with the first Rock Band 2 title to feature one specific band - and that band just happens to be none other than AC/DC.

It's been two years since we've seen any footage of Alan Wake. That's an eternity in game years, not to mention potentially half of a modern console's life cycle. Despite confirmation of its existance by chief financial officer Mika Reini of the game's developer, Remedy, there have been non-believers. On October 15, Reini's backup arrives. A new Alan Wake trailer will make a limited run before the first screenings for the film adaptation of the developer's most famous intellectual property, Max Payne.
